The streetscape guidelines prepared for the City of Temple Terrace is a guidebook for all future design consultants to utilize for transportation projects in the city. This “playbook” is a guide so that design consultants will achieve continuity among different projects and will create more livable, interesting, and inviting roadways throughout the city for years to come. The study addresses a prototypical city block and develops a hierarchy of streetscape treatments. Recommendations for street trees, tree grates, choice of paving materials with paving patterns, selection of decorative trash receptacles, street lighting, signage, decorative benches and other amenities were included.
